WEMADE (CEO : Kwan-ho Park) successfully wrapped up the “WEMIX CHAMPIONSHIP 2025” on Sunday, November 16.

As the final event of the 2025 KLPGA (Korean Ladies Professional Golf Association) Tour season, the championship took place at Gyeongju Mauna Ocean Country Club over two days. Twenty-four of the country’s top female golfers battled it out for the title.

The championship crown went to this season’s top earner, Hong Jungmin, who took home 300 million KRW. Prize money totaling 700 million KRW was distributed among the remaining players according to the tournament’s payout structure.

Over the two days, more than 22,000 galleries attended, highlighting the growing popularity of the WEMIX CHAMPIONSHIP as a KLPGA Super Final event.

On the tournament’s opening day, WEMADE added a special touch with a Kids Escort program for young aspiring female golfers, giving them the chance to walk the course hand-in-hand with the pros—a truly unforgettable experience.

The awards ceremony after the tournament was intentionally simplified to focus on the players. VIP protocol, award assistants, and splash celebrations were not included, with only the 24 competitors and their caddies taking the stage. Fans were able to cheer up close, sharing in the excitement until the very end.

WEMADE will continue the momentum through fan-participation events tied to social contribution. These include a crowdfunding project featuring players’ personal items and “The Last Ball” event, presenting framed balls used by each of the 24 competitors on the final hole. All proceeds, collected through WEMADE’s blockchain-based transparency platform Wepublic, will be donated to charitable causes. The events run through Monday, November 30.

In addition, WEMADE has been actively promoting sports this year, successfully hosting the nationwide amateur tennis tournament “WEMIX OPEN 2025.” Running from July through October, the tournament featured around 250 university and club teams, drawing strong interest from tennis enthusiasts across the country.
