• Wepublic 2.0 to be launched in February 2024... Expands its DAO services to include individuals and groups, donation and social functions to be added

Wemade revealed major updates to transform its transparent society platform Wepublic to Wepublic 2.0.

Wepublic is a transparent social platform that supports creating and operating blockchain-based DAOs (decentralized autonomous organizations). Wepublic 1.0, launched on 27th July this year, currently provides DAO services to official organizations. Functions include DID(Digital Identifier)-based identifying, proof of results which enables transparent decision making through governance program, verification through SBT(Soul Bound Token), and proof of bank balance through Mirror token.

Wepublic 2.0, slated to open in February 2024, will provide DAO project services not only to official organizations but also to individuals and groups. Wepublic Point, a new feature of Wepublic 2.0, will enable donations and further strengthen the transparent funds operating capability of Mirror protocol. Social media-related functions will be added as well. Details are to be announced at a later date.

Wemade is recruiting the first round of Wepublic Supporters, who will plan and run various projects on Wepublic platform for 12 weeks, starting on 25th January.

College or postgraduate students and graduates residing in South Korea can apply individually or as a group. Application is available until 13th January on Wepublic's official website.

Wemade will support their projects financially, and provide fees, assorted Wepublic goods, mentoring from Wemade employees, and official certificates for Supporters. Supporters with outstanding performance can get internship opportunities at Wemade.
