Upcoming new class “Rune Fighter” showcased, alongside previews of new Disir and companion inspired by Philippine symbols
Update roadmap unveiled, featuring diverse programs including boss raid time attack and PvP matches with developers
WEMADE (CEO Park Kwan-ho) successfully hosted a user invitation event, “Partners Day,” for its flagship MMORPG Legend of YMIR on Sunday, the 22nd, in Manila, Philippines. Following previous events in Taiwan and Thailand, this marks the third Partners Day, attended by approximately 100 participants including users, streamers, and partner server leaders.
The Philippines is recognized as a key market among countries where the global version of Legend of YMIR is available, demonstrating high levels of user engagement and active guild participation. WEMADE organized this event to strengthen trust with local users and to further promote networking within the community.
At the event, participants had the opportunity to experience a hands-on preview of the upcoming new class, “Rune Fighter.” This class features high mobility and specializes in close-range combat using punches and kicks, delivering impactful and dynamic gameplay. Its distinctive combat style includes the use of “barrier” abilities that provide buffs to allies while applying debuffs to enemies.
As a gesture of appreciation to Philippine users, WEMADE also introduced upcoming new Disir and a companion inspired by local cultural symbols. The new Disir is based on “Bakunawa,” a mythical giant sea serpent from Philippine folklore, while the companion is modeled after the Philippine Eagle, the country’s national bird.
In addition, WEMADE revealed its upcoming update roadmap and hosted a Q&A session, enabling direct communication between developers and users. The event featured interactive programs such as a boss raid time attack challenge and PvP matches against the development team. Newly appointed partner server leaders also introduced their respective servers and shared their operational plans.
WEMADE plans to actively incorporate feedback gathered from local users during this Partners Day into the game, while continuing to enhance overall content and services through consistent updates and stable operations.
