  • The launch of GAKS marks the beginning of a global ecosystem built around StableNet, a mainnet dedicated to KRW stablecoins.

  • Leading companies in security, compliance, and fintech—Chainalysis, CertiK, and SentBe—have joined as founding partners.

  • The StableNet testnet source code is now publicly available on GitHub.

WEMADE (CEO : Kwan-ho Park) officially launched the Global Alliance for KRW Stablecoins (GAKS) on November 27, bringing together world-leading blockchain innovators—Chainalysis, CertiK, and SentBe.

GAKS was established to enhance the capabilities of StableNet, Korea’s first full-stack infrastructure designed specifically for KRW-based stablecoins, and to accelerate the development of a global ecosystem around it.

Through this alliance, WEMADE has forged strategic partnerships with top-tier companies across security, compliance, and cross-border payments—key pillars for real-world stablecoin adoption.

Chainalysis, a global leader in blockchain analytics and compliance with over 1,300 public and private sector clients including the FBI, SEC, and U.S. Treasury, will integrate its Web3 threat-detection suite Hexagate, transaction monitoring system Sentinel, and AI-powered scam-prevention solution Alterya into StableNet.

CertiK, the world’s largest Web3 security firm headquartered in the U.S., works closely with regulatory authorities including the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), Hong Kong SAR, ESMA, the Japan Financial Services Agency (JFSA), and city governments such as Seoul and Busan. It also advises on the U.S. “GENIUS Act,” reflecting its global leadership in compliance.

Leveraging this expertise, CertiK will conduct security audits for StableNet, provide a blockchain explorer to enhance transparency, and deliver ongoing node-validation services—strengthening on-chain monitoring and mainnet support.

SentBe, a leading global remittance fintech operating in 174 countries with 33 currencies and over KRW 14 trillion in cumulative remittances, has also joined the alliance. With its Major Payment Institution (MPI) license in Singapore and proprietary on/off-ramp infrastructure, SentBe will work with WEMADE to validate cross-border payment solutions using stablecoins.

Following the signing ceremony in Singapore, WEMADE hosted a roundtable with alliance members to discuss core requirements for stablecoin infrastructure, global market trends, and the future of KRW-based stablecoins. The full discussion will be published on YouTube.

“GAKS is an alliance designed to build the entire stablecoin ecosystem—from core technology to real-world services—together with the world’s most trusted companies,” said Shane Kim, VP of WEMADE. “We are fully committed to establishing an exceptional KRW stablecoin infrastructure that meets the highest global standards.”

“The long-term success of any stablecoin ecosystem depends on strict regulatory compliance, strong security, and transparency,” said James Ang, VP of APAC at Chainalysis. “By joining GAKS, we aim to ensure StableNet is built on a globally trusted compliance foundation. Together with WEMADE and our alliance partners, we are creating an infrastructure that institutions, regulators, and users can rely on—detecting risks early, minimizing threats, and paving the way for large-scale real-world adoption.”

Ronghui Gu, Co-founder and CEO of CertiK, added, “CertiK and WEMADE have collaborated on multiple occasions, witnessing WEMIX evolve from a gaming platform into a comprehensive on-chain financial infrastructure. This partnership will accelerate the development of a KRW-based stablecoin ecosystem. With our security and compliance expertise, we will help build a safe, transparent, and globally competitive digital-asset infrastructure.”

WEMADE has also made the StableNet testnet source code publicly available on GitHub.
